Disney+ launches early in Netherlands with free trial period

(Telecompaper) Disney has launched its new subscription VoD service Disney+ already in the Netherlands. The company is offering a free trial period until the official launch date on 12 November. After that, the service will cost EUR 6.99 per month. 

AT&T sees pay-TV customer losses increasing by 300,000 in Q3

(Telecompaper) AT&T said it expects to lose more pay-TV subscribers in the third quarter, due to tough negotiations over new distribution agreements with broadcasters and limited promotional activity. Speaking at an investor conference, CEO John Stephens said the loss of premium pay-TV subscribers is expected to exceed the previous quarter by 300,000 to 350,000.
