(Telecompaper) Swiss operator Sunrise has rejected shareholder Freenet’s opposition to its planned takeover of UPC Switzerland and said it will exclude Freenet’s board representatives from further discussion of the deal, amid concerns they may have breached their fiduciary duties. This follows Freenet’s announcement that it plans to vote against the proposed rights issue to finance the takeover.
