(Telecompaper) Xiaomi has unveiled in China the latest smartphones in its popular Redmi series, the Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro. The company said the Note 8 Pro is the world’s first officially announced smartphone with a 64 MP camera, using Samsung’s GW1 64MP sensor. It also features a 6.5-inch 1080p screen, MediaTek’s latest Helio G90T chipset and a quad-camera setup including the 64 MP primary camera and a 20 MP front-facing camera. The battery is 4,500 mAh and the phone has 6/8 GB of RAM and 64/128 GB of storage.
